Camping

We’ve just got back from a couple of days test camping at the reasonably nearby

Orchard Campsite which we picked for our first ‘family camping’ session. It really is a great site, very relaxed, lots of children hooning about, hot showers, toilets and you are allowed to have campfires which really does make for a great atmosphere.

Busy week

So, Alfie and I are back form another exciting Le Mans trip. Alfie is straight into Victorian week at school. As usual they have a dressing up day and as usual H does a stunning job.

Next up we have the school Fete, a fine event in the village calendar with fun for all (and a bar for grown ups).

On Saturday we kicked off with Poppy’s sport day. Once again she triumphed (well nearly) in the egg and spoon (or egg on spoon as she calls it).

She also came in first in the hat race.

After this excitement we hopped onto our bikes and headed for Hadstock to visit their stunning Fete… However as I did not take my camera you have to imagine.

Lintons got talent :)

Spring is here and so we find ourselves at the nearest bit of seaside which happens to be felixtowe..

Fish and chips, ice-cream, fog, you know the usual sort of thing. Anyway we all had a cracking time.

Bartlow hills

Helen, Tom, Charlotte and Will have been here which was nice. Amongst other things (like eating and drinking a lot) we had a wander up to the three hills in bartlow (the hills not the pub).

We also found the local geocache (not the hardest one to find).

Dressing up time

So, both children had a dressing up day. Poppy went as Angelina Ballerina [singlepic id=391 w=320 h=240 float=right]and Alfie went as a Masai warrior.[singlepic id=397 w=320 h=240 float=left] As usual H excelled in the costume department (with a little help).
